There's an unbelievable difference when I get from behind the kit after a show or rehearsal. It's worrisome how used I was to having a sore back and butt after spending an hour or more behind the kit. Also the airlift lever is really nice. You get some extra air cushioning and you can adjust your height very precisely in no time. I believe it helps my playing because it's so comfortable and afterwards there's just no pain.
