Nice sound for small price
Analog sound in a portable device... very optimistic to call it a Jupiter portable version, but for the price, you get a bunch of nice sounds, and it is one of the best synthesizer you could get for this money.
If you do not have any analog device, with this one you can learn the basics, and get some sound designer experience for a small price.

Good but missing step sequencer
It sounds really nice but I'm not a big fan of motion sequence, playing those touch keys on time can be a pain and when I found out that this thing has no step sequencer I almost cried. I'm not the first to ask for this feature, the knobs can retain motion sequence all day long but give us a proper step sequencer for the keys with rests and ties. Also 16 steps is a bit stingy for such a massive sounding mini, 32 would have been majestic.

Number three in the ranking
Out of the Behringer minis, I have 4/5. The only one that I am missing is the Para-o one. Despite that, JT mini is number three. I like the sound and I like how the minis look like. My issue is that this mini only has two modes that can be recorded in the synth. It means only tweaks of the two modes can be recorded to the synth, which is limited. I could record them to the DAW though, but sometimes, I don’t want to turn on my computer. It would have scored higher in features if it was the case. Despite that, I like the sounding of the synth, which is why it is number three in the list and I find this synth very easy to mix, especially when it comes to the drums. I love the detune of this synth, and I enjoy trying it out in different ways. This synth is a good beginner synth, because it isn’t that complicated to use. It is cheap too.
