Okay since this is the first of it's kind, it's fxxking awesome. It's basically a 3 band EQ like the 1073 (Lo & Hi Shelf, Bell Mid) but you can set every band's frequency point. After that, whichever direction you turn the gain knob for the specific band, it saturates THAT amount which you turned. So if you cut 6 dB or boost 6 dB, you EQ that specific band but get the same amount of saturation. So it doesn't matter if you cut or boost, you turn the saturation UP on the band. It sounds GREAT on everything! Love this type of thing.

An eq that has no rival in the analogue world and probably neither in the digital one.
A tiny bit adds a clean clarity and shine to full mixes that become so evident when switching the bypass on.
It was a blind purchase and now I would have a hard time mastering without it.
The closest thing that I know would be The Oven by Hendy Amps at 8-9 times the price for a stereo unit.

A must in my list of tools for mixing and particularly mastering.
