After only 20 hours of playing, the cable broke due to its design. The cam at the beater has a sharp edge that the cable runs over, which eventually wears it down. There's no way to adjust the cam position (which is odd), and that also limits the possible beater position.
The cable attachment on the beater cam requires a special cable because it has a locking piece attached. At the pedal end, the cable is simply secured by squeezing it between two jaws with a screw. They should have used that method on both ends.
Overall, the pedal is fairly well-built, but with so many design flaws, I would definitely choose another model.
