Nice and useful, but without particular charm
Doepfer was the originator of Eurorack, and their contribution to the society cannot be overestimated. However, this is just a plain little Enevelope generator.
I bought this before Behringer went into Eurorack, and today I would likely have chosen one of their remakes of classic envelope generators instead.

Nice standard ADSR
The Doepfer A-140 is a standard ADSR, it does what it's supposed to do, without any problems, the switch between short, medium and long time is a nice feature for some quick expression changes.
