Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi w. Tone Wicker

I did some research before settling on this fuzz pedal as my first, and it is quite versatile.
The tone wicker provides a high boost that opens the sound up, although it does add to the noise floor quite a bit.
I like the build, but it is very light and I prefer pedals that have some weight to them, but that is just my personal preference.

I pud a ds1 distortion pedal before it and it really gives this some lift, so it works well with an overdrive/distortion pedal, to make it cut through the mix.

All in all a very nice pedal-

Nice to have the option of more crisp fuzz, with the wicker switch.
