Ive used Ernie Ball my whole life.. \m/-_-\m/
Its true, and im proud of it. Played for 18 years, They will very very rarely fail. Ive never had tuning stability issues on hardtail guitars since i learned from an early age to apply the strings correctly to the guitar in a tense way. As a matter of fact, i most often change the strings cause i use them so long it feels like they get old, i broke a string last week - first broken string in about 4 years. I change them every 3-6 months i believe, on all guitars. If this doesnt testify how well they last, i dont know what will. Im into classic rock and 80s metal and im not gently to my guitars, i do not own a whammy bar guitar though. These strings are a great choice, but you probably already know Ernie Ball, if not. You've got to.

The perfect strings
These are the perfect strings. I hope Ernie Ball never stops selling them. The combination of the standard 10-46 bass strings and the treble strings from the new 9.5 sets, just a perfect feel for my strat.

Great performance/value ratio
D'addario still hasn't got set like this with 095-46 so I use these for the time being. I have used a custom set of Curt Mangan but they are a little pricey to get from the UK or US. I hope these will be offered in a RPS version one day, as the high strings can slip. I can be fixed with solder but I'd rather have them pre-reinforced. You can't complain about the price ;-)
