Evans B13 STD 13" ST Dry Snare Head

I got this snare head after wanting a change from my normal heads G2 & G12...and i have to say I am liking these much better. The sound is a nice dry pop, I like them tight..but I find you dont have to tune these up as high to get the same high pop that one might have to with the G2'S or 12's. If you like a bit of ring these have them too..but just the right amount I may add. I would not use any dampening on these heads just leave them nice and open and they sound superb. Would very much recommend these to anyone..ill be sticking with these on my snare for awhile now. and as far as i can see i dont have any bad points to mention about this head so thats a plus too.
