I bought this set together with a lefty Fender neck for my partcaster project and l believed that being both Fender products they would fit each other with no problems.
Of course they don’t.
The ferrules that came with the set are about 1mm too small, or the predrilled holes on the head are 1mm too wide.
I mean… Fender has made the Telecaster during the last 75 years and still can not find out to make the different parts compatible. Like the bridge PU cables of their TexMex model: they are too short.
I’ve fixed the problem with stripes of tape, no sweat, but for fxxk sake…
