I got the matte color to prevent white scratches. And when I occasiinaly got white scratches on my case, I could just rub it with eraser and wipe the residue off! The only downside is the handle on the side is a little wobbly when I'm hand carrying my case when it's fully loaded&packed. It's no problem though, just wish it was as sturdy as the subway handle. The backpack straps are a little too wide for me, but that's just because of my own physique. Overall, totally recommend to anyone who's looking for a violin case regardless of your level and other stuff!
