A
great pickup!
I used as to replace a Gibson 490t, a more"vintage sound" pickup,
This is aggressive but great from blues to hard rock tones!
Perfect match with Gibson 490r.
Good also as split single coil.
everything perfect as always!

Gibson Humbuckers
I bought two of these, one covered and one open for a left handed replica of the Jimmy Page EDS1275 that I am making for a customer. They are exactly what I was looking for for that classic Gibson sound and at a great price here at Thomann.

Fantastic pickup!
The 498T is very underrated, IMO. It's one of Gibson's best high output pickups and sounds absolutely incredible with gain. It also sounds very nice when wired in parallel. I just love it in my Les Paul Axcess Custom! If you like the Duncan JB, you'll love the 498T.
