Needs a bit of work, but fits perfectly
There might be some nut size difference on Gibson Les Paul models for which this part is intended?
I had to take a bit of it's sides and also take a bit of the bottom parts sides to make it fit.
With some patience this nut will fit 100% perfect into an existing Gibson nutmount nad allows thicker strings.
The original Titanium nut was way to narrow for 048, I contacted Gibson regarding it and they suggested a TUSQ XL.

Just what I needed
Traded a guitar for a 2017 Gibson Les Paul Standard HP with the titanium nut, but I'm using a thicker guage strings and the strings wouldn't fit the nut.
I knew I had to take a bit off this nut to make it fit, but measured the old nut with a caliper and went to work.
Didn't take more than 20 minutes, I'm used to doing stuff like this, and now it fits perfectly.
If you're not used to working with stuff like this get a luthier to do it, or maybe buy two if you should fail.

Easy install
Installed this on mu Gibson studio 2015. Took a littel sanding on the sides, but apart from this a perfekt fit. String height was set on first try. Improves tuning stability. I am curious to see the life time of this thing.
