Harley Benton CLA-15MCE SolidWood

I ordered this guitar not really expecting an instrument of significant quality given the price. Well that was blown out of the water as soon as I'd unboxed it. The matt mahogany finish is absolutely beautiful with a lovely feel to it. The look of the guitar is top class. I've had the guitar for about 2 weeks now & I can find no faults in the workmanship or assembly. Once I lowered the action to taste with a truss-rod adjustment the guitar plays & sounds lovely. The sound produced by the solid mahogany body was significantly improved by replacing the stock strings with a set of Martin Authentic 10's.

I have at home a Martin D28 & a Furch Blue GcCm & this little Harley Benton OM can certainly hold it's head up in their company. The OM dimensions make it extremely comfortable to play & the Fishman pickup reproduces the warm mahogany tones very well.

So to sum up - this guitar is in my opinion the bargain of the year. You get a ridiculously good instrument for a very modest outlay. Get yourself one now - before Thomann wakes up & increases the price
