Harley Benton MSB-5 Black Flame Burl

i got this in January 2025 during the initial launch, for 400 euros. At that price, it was already a great deal. i don't know what changed between then and now (Dec 2025), that it costs 320 euros - However, I will say that for 400 I found this a pretty good product. The fretwork is decent, I like the shape and stability of the neck. I also like the Amaranth wood of the fingerboard compared to roasted maple.

The weight is almost 3.9 kgs which I like a lot, for an instrument of this size that is comfortable. There is a small belly carve - I wish that was bigge and deeper! (hehe)

The pickups are serviceable given that it's a budget bass so I'm happy with about that. The tuners were fine but I replaced those with Gotoh 404 series tuners, which feel much better.
