Can't beat it for the money
For the price, this is an amazing bass but it needed a bit of work...
Pros: Once setup this looks, sounds and plays amazing and punches well above it's price tag. The roasted maple neck is solid, tuners are good and the bridge too. The pickup is really punchy and can go from mellow to growling.
Cons: This is my 8th Harley Benton and the first where I've had to do more than just a decent setup. All the fret edges were really quite sharp and it took a while with a fret file to get them rounded and feeling good. Once done, this plays exceptionally well. Not sure if mine just slipped through the QC check but you also have to align your expectations to the price tag.
I may look at upgrading the tuners and the nut, but the stock ones are more than functional for now.

Fender for little money!
I took it to a technician right away. He adjusted the neck slightly, set the string height, and intonated it. He also oiled the fretboard since it was very dry.
But despite these small things, this bass is just awesome! Sounds almost like a real Fender! Highly recommended.
