Yes, a study case is the best place to keep your beloved instruments, but a bunch of cases isn't nearly as pleasing to the eye as a neat row of your favourite axes on the wall.
I was blessed to have the spare wall space in my home studio to have eight of these hangers (and the instruments to fill them). They hold everything securely (unless you have a headless guitar) and there's no risk of anything going awry... even with my two young cats jumping around the place. These even held heavier instruments, including an ash-bodied five-string bass and a weighty Les Paul Custom without issue.
I'd recommend using a spirit level and a stud detector to make everything is neat and safe, but these wall hangers won't let you or your instruments down.
I was not impressed with these. It had been assembled upside-down at the factory meaning I had to take it apart to reassemble correctly. The provided screws were nowhere near long enough to secure in my wall (rendered natural stone).
I ordered some Harley Benton hangers at the same time, and these were actually better.
