Obviously being part of the Gio series it isn't quite as high end as the other Soundgear bases, but there's still so much to admire.
Firstly, the body is stunning. Without doubt the most beautiful looking bass I've ever owned, and I've owned quite a few. It's pretty light weight, but still feels very durable and well made. The neck is, as expected from Ibanez a joy to play.
Sound wise it packs plenty of punch. As mentioned before it doesn't quite have the range of say the SR305EB, but there's plenty of time options here and the phat II control really does boost the low end.
All in all a beautiful bass with plenty of tonal options. Very happy.
