Ibanez ICHI00-VWH

I checked the reviews and had fair hopes for this one. But I was really disappointed, and I´m not even being harsh in this review. Price Point and features is fair... But the finish of the craftsmanship is really awfull on this on - I might have been unlucky. here are my points.

- FretSprouts really bad "cutting bad"
- lots of toolmarks "pressed" where the rosewood meets the frets.
- Gaps between the rosewood slab and the maple neck several places
- Glue on the neck
- The tone knob is getting stuck when rotated
- Tuner for "G" is skipping
- The ceramic pickups are brittle and have nasty overtones
- Not set up at all- the entire bridge adjustment is just one straight line (factory line)
- Bad buzzing (I know that you should make minor adjustments but this one is for a luthier job to be playable)
- Compared to a Mexican Fender Classic Player Strat 2013 this is world apart both in craftsmanship, quality and the sound is not even comparable.

* This is the worst I have tried in a long, long time - So I would recomend looking for Sire, PRS, Fender or Harley Benton in this pricerange

Es una muy buena guitarra con un sonido limpio y tb soporta bastante distorsión es muy versátil en sus diferentes posiciones de pastilla. El mástil es cómodo y muy bien construido trastes pulidos y muy cómodos, pero hay cosas a mejorar: La guitarra cuando la movía hacia un ruido en la parte de la electrónica, la desmonté y había un trozo de brida blanca y gorda :S por otro lado la guitarra trasteaba del traste 12 en adelante y no había forma de solucionarlo, me fijé y vi que el mástil estaba mal asentado en la base, lo desmonté y mi sorpresa fue suciedad debajo del mástil y pegotes muy densos de barniz o lo que sea y muchos en la zona mas cercana a la pastilla del mástil, he tenido que lijar bien la base y ahora va perfecta, pero me parece una falta de respeto a Ichika Nito y a los compradores tener una buena guitarra y montarla mal. Espero que la mía sea el único caso :) , por lo demás estoy muy contenta con el producto. La guitarra es liviana y muy cómoda.

Nicht, dass ich ein Ichika-Nito-Fan bin, aber ich bin immer auf der Suche nach eher "außergewöhnlichen" Gitarren-Designs - so besitze ich auch noch drei PS-Modelle und drei aus der Q-Serie von Ibanez. Diese hier sprach mich von der Formgebung an, weil die Talman-Serie zwar irgendwie "old-fashioned" anmutet, aber eben doch ein sehr eigenständiges Design hat. Üblicherweise bin ich auch kein SC-Spieler, aber die SSS-Konfiguration meiner Ichi10 aus der Q-Serie hat mich schon überzeugt, also dachte ich hier "was soll's, einfach ausprobieren".
Die Verarbeitung ist für diesen Preis wirklich fein, die Lackierung ist perfekt ausgeführt, es sind keine "flaws" zu erkennen! Der Hals ist der gleiche wie bei meinen Q-Modellen (Q54, Q52 und Ichi10), also nicht der super-flache aus der QX-Serie, und liegt super in der Hand. Die Hardware ist ebenso sehr fein, und die Pickups klingen durchaus gut, da ist selbst für kräftigen Rock kein allzu großes Tweaking am Amp erforderlich (was aber natürlich immer Geschmacksache ist!). Allein das Setup (hallo, Thomann?) ließ doch zu wünschen übrig, eine Saitenlage von 6 mm am 12. Bund über alle Saiten ist dann schon was viel. Gott sei Dank hat es aber völlig ausgereicht, die Saitenreiter des flach aufliegenden Tremolos abzusenken, die Halskrümmung war / blieb OK (trotz Wechsels auf einen 010er Saitensatz). Jetzt hat sie die gleiche Saitenlage wie meine anderen Gitarren und das ist schon ein Riesenunterschied. Also, unterm Strich eine tolle Gitarre, die ich vorbehaltlos empfehlen kann - erst recht für den Preis!
