terrible connections
I am seriously struggling to both fit and remove it from the XLR cables. It is super tight and the small thump clamp doesn't release it. Even so the booster sits badly connected, so it moves during recording with a clonking sound as it tilts from one side to the other.
Maybe someone can find a hack but to me it seems silly - XLR is a really good connection system, there shouldn't be any issues.

does the job
very handy device, fits easily on the mike and it simply does the job without any problems
