Functioning good but definitely recommend for a rechargeable model instead
I purchased the item 1.5 year ago and the original batteries already ran out of charge after just 3-4 times of usage. It's understandable and normal that this type of product accompanies by low-quality batteries. I hope I would have realised it early because nowadays I no longer use external AA/AAA batteries in any electronics. This is the reason why I put light output as 4* because it just depends on the battery charge.
If you are a new buyer, unless you already have some rechargeable AAA batteries or other AAA batteries on hand, I would definitely recommend you to switch for a directly rechargeable lamp as a more sustainable (and cheaper) choice over time.

a decent quality bright light
Bought a few of these from different manufacturers, this is the best of the bunch. The light is very bright & the flexible necks seem robust. The body feels a bit cheap, not sure how many times they might take being dropped. Definitely the best so far though.

Well, the light is okay, but somehow the level of build quality is not what one would expect from the brand.

Great buy
Doing what it is supposed to do, and doing it great, only point to pick is that I would have liked a tad more spread on the lights. But that's nitpicking.

Great design
I use this clipped to top of fold out music stand which bracket attaches to mic stand.
Lights separate to left and right, mic boom through the middle.
Good light level, weighs nothing, quick charging
