These tilting adapters work fine are well made and have lasted me well. However, they do make the speakers look slightly wonky when in use which I think looks a little unprofessional and I would always prefer to use speakers with tilted top hats already installed as they ensure the weight is properly balanced over the centre of the stand, but they get you out of trouble when avoiding reflections off a back wall. The tightening nuts can dent aluminium speaker stands it would be better if they either fit more snugly on 35mm stands thus removing need for tightening bolt or had some sort of rubber cushion.
I find these very useful and they have improved my sound in certain venues. The speakers can be raised above the crowd and then tilted as much as 15 degrees to reduce ceiling reflections and increase the quality of the sound reaching the audience. The design is simple, but very elegant and effective. I've had these for 4 months and I've had no fundamental problems. However, the little plastic ring that indicates the degree of tilt fell off one of them. It's not a huge problem, but it shouldn't really happen. I would highly recommend this product to gigging musicians who have to set up their own PA.
Its so super to make an adjustmen of the speaker angle.
Its even super if you use a top pole between subs and tops....the adapters putt it a bit higher and its just fine. (when i use sound composition 12"sub and 12" tops)....
Great product it does exactly what it says the only thing about it is it will take you a bit to get the angle of the speakers just right without the speaker looking like its leaning to the side once you do that a couple of times you get used to it and its good to go definitely improves your sound in terms of feedback for conferences
These angle adapters are reassuringly heavy. I use them with RCF HD12A speakers either on speaker stands or distance poles if using subs. The angle indicator can be awkward to read under certain lighting conditions, maybe that's just my eyes! They fit well at both ends and the locking screws are easy to use. Good quality product that does what it should.
Great adapter from K&M which enable you to angle your speakers down at the ground to lesson reflections (sound rebounding) from the back of the room. Very handy if you're facing a wall in a wide room - can stop a lot of echo and feedback problems.
This is well made and will fit on to and speaker stand or speaker pole. Recommended.
I find these very useful, but they don't live up to K&M's usually very high standard.
The plastic ring that shows you the angle comes separated, so the numbers aren't very useful at all.
It can also be hard to tell exactly the right way to point it to avoid the speaker tilting slightly on the wrong axis.
Adjustments can be difficult once the weight of the speaker is on it.
I personally prefer the Gravity tilt adapter that has a fixed angle.
Really pleased with this item - very easy to install - well made and robust and easily supports the weight of my speakers. Angling the sound towards the audience rather than the back wall of the building has significantly reduced reflections and improved quality of the sound.
