Nice budget bass
Overall very nice budget bass filled with features, highly recommended. In my case neck wood grain is just great. Fretboard edges are very noticeably rounded which is very nice feature that gives the neck very ergonomic feel along with satin finish. Frets are as good as they need to be, no fret buzz. Maybe professional luthier with all his diagnosis tools could find something wrong about them but I couldn't. Tuners and bridge are probably pretty basic but they do the job. Tuners work smooth and precise enough and holds fine. Bridge have all the adjustments and also got option for throught-body stringing. Preamp works as advertised and expected (you can find video on YT where Marcus himself explain every knob). Wiring done great, electronics cavity and cover are shielded with graphite and foil which I didn't expected at all. For the price it have very nice touches here and there all over the instrument. It feels good in hands, everything works properly and it sounds good. I'd say it pays off every penny and highly recommended if you're looking for a new bass guitar in this price range.

Marcus Miller V3 MA 2nd Gen Bass Guitar Review
I spent a lot of time researching bass guitars in this price range, watching videos and reading reviews, and eventually decided on the Sire Marcus Miller V3. When it arrived, I was impressed by its design. The bass looks great and feels very comfortable to hold. Upon playing it for the first time with my Boss GT-1B pedal and headphones, the sound was exactly what I expected—clear and solid. It’s easy to get a good tone out of it, and the bass feels comfortable to play.
The neck is well-designed and comfortable in my hands, making it easy to play for long periods. One thing I did notice, however, is that the knobs feel a bit cheap, as they are made of plastic. Given the price, this is understandable, but I plan on replacing them with higher-quality ones. I also read that the tuning machines are of lower quality, and after using the bass, I agree with that assessment. It’s something I’ll look into replacing in the future, though it doesn’t affect the overall playability much.
Overall, for a budget bass, the Marcus Miller V3 offers a great combination of design, sound, and playability. It’s a solid choice for anyone looking for a good bass at this price point. I’m now considering purchasing the 5-string version, the Marcus Miller V5 Alder-5 NT, as it seems like the best option in this price range.

Insanely good value for money!
I own a couple of V10s, so I’m used to Sire quality and value. However, when I checked this bass out, which I’ve purchased as a teaching instrument, I was utterly gobsmacked! Finish, general build quality, aesthetics, and sound, all smack of a significantly more expensive instrument! I’d be more than happy to gig with this bass.

The attention to detail and the craftmanship is superb. The sound also. The only thing that really bugged me is tha fact that is not set up.The bass has a lot of fretbuzz and i have to send it to become ok to play bit..so spend more money.

Low Budget, High Quality!
Looking for a Jazz Bass,… this is the one!
Sure there are more expensive and better looking ones but do they sound better?
The answer is no, this budget bass is all you need.
No need to replace parts like on many other budget instruments, the pickups and preamp are great, the preamp is even better then the one on a Fender USA JB deluxe.

Great sound and feel, but technical issue with comknobs
Very nice looking piece of instrument with great sound a playability. However, I ran into a small, but important issue: the first knob (which actually combines two knobs, one for overall volume and one for tone) is not technically well designed. Each knob should be able to be operated independently, but when turning one, the other one turns as well. Which is kind of a pain and I did not expect this in a bass with such a good reputation.
