Martin Guitar MA4800 Acoustic Bass Strings

I've had this quite old acoustic bass for years and never changed its strings because I never felt the need to do something about it as I've never been using it for any particular occasions.
I bought these strings to try out something new and well, it was a well made decision. Their golden colour reflects remarkably their brightness, these strings really brought that old bass of mine back to life. The sound is very nice, its warmth made my bass the perfect companion for home jams with friends and relatives when playing blues or jazz together. These strings also work fine when using a pick.
I recommend them for their beautiful brightness, but usage can be noticed after 5-6 months as they start getting a bit dull.
