Neumann U47 FET

Thomann quoted a price lower than all the competition and I thought I needed to double check the item as I had thought that it would not be delivered from stock. My doubts were unfounded, the price was good, free delivery was within 5 working days and the microphone was carefully wrapped and protected. A neumann mike lead would have cost £85 so I was recommended a Fender at £9.31. The cable and plugs look robust and professional. Most pleased with Thomann's service - it seems to be a habit!

I think that this is my favorite mic of all time in terms of diversity of applications, and it's not a super fragile mic like some others.

Super easy to set up and use without the additional power supplies that some other mics have, so this is a more realistic mic set-up for a non-studio setting (which is more what I'm using it for).
