Basic plug that works ok
A basic plug that accepts cables up to 8 mm dia. Take care not to overheat it when soldering, because that is where most inexpensive plugs and jacks fail.

Reasonable Quality
The plug itself is sturdy and very useful for recycling thicker older cables but the threads will probably need threadlock and strain relief is minimal so not perhaps the best for live use.
