This thing is really sturdy and I've used it for several applications, including some it isn't designed for. I've been very happy with it, especially for the price.

Does the job
I have a Hercules Adjustable Desktop Stand that is better. But this was a cheap bulk buy for the school I work in.
It's good and solid. A little awkward in changing the heights but nothing major.

yep, its a microphone stand
its a microphone stand, it holds the microphone. indeed it does a very good job at that. definitely recommended for all the folks in need of such tool.
