Cheap looking, great sounding cheap headphones
Long story short, these look and feel cheap, but sound great..after you tweak your EQ settings.
The OneOdio app doesn't work with these headphones, only with the 2nd gen version..which apparently has better sound out of the box compared to this first version..so you might want to buy those instead, as they seem to have improved the sound issue by all accounts with the 2nd Gen.
Basically the mids on these are pretty low and the low end is heavy, which many won't mind..but if you like listening to music with a clear high end, then you'll have to play around to get the sound right.
They are really light and comfortable to wear, with very little pressure on your head and ears. Like most headphones out there with leatherette pads, your ears are going to get hot after a while, but that's to be expected with all closed back headphones.
My #1 hate is the cheap sounding plastic "creek" you hear when you move your head..I found it irritating at first, but I'm kinda getting used to it a little.
Overall, these are not bad headphones at all..their sound is up there with the Audio-Technica cans they look like..you just need to fiddle around with your EQ settings to get the sound you want.
For the low price you pay, they are pretty hard to beat.
