On the way to an optimal cymbal sound, a special Paiste sound alloy from patented bronze was developed for the signature series. The result are instruments that have been gaining recognition since their introduction in 1989, and have proven themselves both in the studio and life. The sound has a high expressive power and can be described as filigree, transparent, musical, emotional and colourful.
The Thin China Signature line offers a dark, full and "trashy" sound. Very explosive at the first attack, followed by a soft, fast sustain. Well suited for the lower volume range.

På vejen til en optimal bækkenlyd blev en speciel Paiste-lydlegering af patenteret bronze udviklet til signaturserien. Resultatet er instrumenter, der har vundet anerkendelse siden introduktionen i 1989 og har bevist deres værd både i studiet og i livet. Lyden har en høj udtrykskraft og kan beskrives som filigran, transparent, musikalsk, følelsesladet og farverig.
Thin China Signature-serien tilbyder en mørk, fyldig og "trashy" lyd. Meget eksplosiv ved første anslag, efterfulgt af en blød, hurtig sustain. Velegnet til det lavere volumenområde.
