Pearl JG-16 Jungle Set Adapter

I use this component together with pearl OPT1516 to convert a floor tom into a bass drum. if you have this need, I would say this is the fastest and easiest solution on the market. BE AWARE THAT THIS COMBO WORKS ONLY FOR PEARL TOMS.
there are a few small mechanical parts that could be designed in a more functional way but everything can be solved with small adjustments.

the main defect, in my opinion, is the following:
once the bass drum is "assembled" (so the drum head perpendicular to the floor), there is a certain extra distance for the beater to be covered to reach the drum head. so with a normal bass drum, when the beater touches the drum head, the angle between the beater and the floor is about 90 degrees. with this solution it is higher. I am satisfied because I made a bass drum for my electronic drumkit, so I glued a small pillow on the mesh drumhead and this solves the problem.
but if you are planning to use this pearl jungle kit, be aware that you will have to face this issue.
