The S-930 can take a hammering. they don't move they don't break. they are easy to adjust and fits prettymuch every drummer. they do however get in the way.
The claws are clumsy and way to big to be practical. if you keep your drums far apart anyway its okay but if it's close together its no good.

as snare stands go this one is half decent. it does a good enough job and is solid and stable but i have had pearl s-1000 & s-2000 snare stands before and i just don't think that it is built as well as them or works as well as them? For the money i would have expected a gyrolock tilter instead of a unilock tilter? but at least they have kept the rubberised flexible gripper on the basket.

Very satisfied, works great with my 14'' Roland digital snare. i have not set up any snare stands previously and this was very easy to figure out. The adjustments provide many different positions wile stating stable. I like my snare quite high so I was worried about it not being high enough, but that wasn't a problem.
Have only used it for just over two weeks but I can tell this is going to last a while. Nothing to complain about.
