Power Pins Bridge Pin Set V2 BK

Installed on my paisley pink acoustasonic. These are absolutely essential on these guitars to prevent the ballend from falling into the electronics cavity if a string breaks. Installing was a very straightforward process, I didn't need to use the supplied bar as the acoustasonic has a brass grounding plate under the bridge already. One pin was tricky to place but this was due to my bridge hole being countersunk too deep on one side, I remidied this myself without much difficulty and it does not effect the pins performance. I personally have noticed more resonance and sustain from the guitar. I would recommend these for all acoustasonic or gigging guitars for ease of string changing but I don't think I would put them on my high end acoustics that I use for recording. I'm personally ordering another two sets for my other gigging acoustics.

Being a pro/semi pro guitarist for the best part of my adult life, and doing a lot of recording and live sessions, lately felt the need to change my strings on my Acoustasonic Tele's more frequent to keep the "fresh" guitar string feel longer...but with the standard bridgepins it is always a hassle to change strings...but with the Power Pins installed I can change my strings fast and without problems. A major upgrade for these guitars, the Power Pins also provide a bit more sustain to the instrument. If you're looking to upgrade to these pins, do it yourself, I installed them myself in about 15 to 20 minutes, never going back to standard bridgepins...
