All most like guts

The D ang G are Fine strings and is very much like guts but E and A lacks Bass, but like wise does Guts...so maybe a good cheap replacement for guts.

I love these strings

These strings are the closest I've found to the feel of a gut string, but much more durable, consistent, and less expensive. I plan to use them exclusively.
I had the mediums on my bass for almost a year, will try the light gage now.

As a rockabilly/rock'n'roll bass player I was always looking for strings, that are easy to play kinda nylon like but with real tone in it. I tried dozens of sets over the years from cheap weedwackers for about twenty bucks a set up to custom made "gut-a-like". In a string comparison in the german Musiker-Board.de I tested these strings to many other sets:
My result is clear. This set puts a full mighty tone with lots of sustain to the bass and is still very easy to play. For beginners I would recommend light gauge/tension. Experienced players should try the medium set. They stay perfectly in tune, very reliable and make your doghouse sound impressive. They are also real good for pure acoustic playing (quite loud!). Try them, you won't be dissapointed.

Ich hatte vorher schon Presto Saiten auf dem Kontrabass, konnte aber nicht einschätzen, welche genau es sind. Wie dick Medium nun wirklich ist weiß vorher ja keiner. Davon ausgehend, dass der dickste Satz Medium ist, waren die neuen Saiten natürlich dicker als die bereits aufgezogenen. Da wäre gut gewesen wenn in der Produktbeschreibung ein Maß angegeben wäre, dann könnte man mal schnell mit der Schiebelehre messen... Aber dennoch: gutes Spielgefühl, perfektes Handling, astreine Verarbeitung und BallEnd! Beim nächsten Mal vielleicht einen Satz Light Saiten zu erst probieren, damit werden wahrscheinlich am meisten Spielbedürfnisse abgedeckt.
