Works as intended
It does the job it supposed to do: Reduce sympathetic resonance and unwanted buzz snare wires and produce a sound where the shell is contributing more and the snare wires less. This comes with a slight loss of sensitivity of course . I think it works best when combined with good quality wood shell .
