Good mount!

As Rode Blimp is a good protection against wind it's not always that people want to use it by hand. I make atmosphere recordings and with Blimps own handlebar it's quite uncomfortable to connect it to a mic stand. Since I got this mount Blimp takes much less room and connecting it to a mic stand is easier too. It's also quite nice that it has hole for 3/8" screw and it doesn't need an adapter - like most mic holders do.

Found that you can't use the patch cable from the blimp with this so have to remove it and just use a regular XLR straight to the mic inside the blimp. Other than that great lightweight alternative to the handle for use on a pole
