Tried these over Vic Firth's own
I use various sticks depending upon the style of drumming, The Vic Firth SD4 is/was my staple choice of stick, but they do wear pretty fast. So I went in search of a Hickory stick (stronger) and found these. They basically match Vic's SD4 although a little different in some very minor ways. These so far have proven to be much more durable. I maybe swayed to these Rohema's from now on.

A Durable Alternative to My Trusted Sticks
I've been using various drumsticks depending on the style of music I'm playing, and I have to say that the Rohema SD4-H has caught my attention. As someone who's accustomed to using Vic Firth's SD4, I was pleased to find that these sticks match up well in terms of feel and performance. The hickory material seems to make a difference in durability, as I've noticed they lasts longer than my previous sticks.
