I'm a metal drummer and I wanted a fast, thrashy china and obviously didn't do enough research.
This china sounds exactly like it is supposed to don't get me wrong. It is like a smaller 18" AA.
But I should have gone for a 14" I guess.

It packs a full, rich sound for such a small china - goes quite well with blasts - just don't expect "thrashiness".

A little word of warning though: When I received mine I got a used one! The center-hole was torn! So I took pictures and contacted Thomann and got a new one after some discussions back and forth.
Just a PSA.

For me AAX cymbals are good choice for metal music, but this 16" china is a bit thin.. I'm afraid i might break them soon if i play it regularly. Zildjian have good sounding 16s in my opinion, would like to get one someday from Thomann.
