This is THE splash cymbal! It's not a bell, it doesn't a have a 'ring' tone to it - It actually has a proper splash sound! And I am honestly a bit baffled, why no other company (as far as I'm aware of?) are capable of making a proper splash cymbal??? I own A-customs 6" 8" and 10" - And they are way to ring'y. With these, I have both the 8" and 10" - And I my kit would be boring without 'em! Just looking forward to go full circle, and purchase the 6" too - So if you wan't a real splash - These are definitely for you!
