Shure Motiv MVX2U

I purchased the Shure MVX2U because I wanted to use my SDC XLR mic in my working-from-home IT equipment setup, and I do not have admin rights on my company laptop (Windows 11) to install anything. As promised by Shure, the device worked straight out-of-the-box, with no additional software or drivers required. It has performed brilliantly over the last month, providing ample clarity and detail; it is amazing how such a small audio interface can pack such a punch. If you have access to a PC where the Shure MOTIV Mix app can be installed, for condenser mics, I would advise changing the Auto-Level gain setting from the default highest level to the middle one; note that DSP settings are stored onboard the MVX2U. Highly recommended.
