Tama HTC87W Tom/Cymbal Combi Stand

For a non drummer, this could seem so boring but I was so excited getting this stand. I didn't buy new gear in the past 20 years and when I started to struggle with my current stands, twisting unexpectedly, not tightening enough, spotting with rust... It was time to jump ! I've always been a TAMA person and this was my primary choice for HW, not just for the standing but because all the rest of my toms and other HW kit would work with it.
First the weight : it's so heavy, you KNOW it's going to be reliable, it won't move, it won't slip, it's solid, it;s the strongest name in drums right ? It sure is !
The tightening of wing-nuts are so smooth, the tripod opening is gliding with one finger... it's a delight, it's delicious, it's almost luscious...
The adjustments is second to none. Precise, tight, robust. It's flawless, it's impossibly well finished. I'm in love. This experience has given me the need for some more, I'll be buying 2 more roadpro stands soon...because I love them so much I can't get enough... Go for it. This is a 200% recommended, flat out, eyes closed, no doubt about it buy !
