Thomann KB-57RM

I prefer a higher seating position at the piano at around 570mm and this bench is ideal for me having a good range of adjustment and being a bit higher at its lower setting than a lot of other benches. I am very pleased with the quality of the bench, which has a black buttoned velour covered seat which is nicely padded and comfortable. The storage tray is quite shallow at around 20mm but an additional 20mm recess in the lid gives adequate room for some books and sheet music. The storage tray is nicely lined with black crush velvet material and matching edging. Spring washers are supplied with the leg fixings and the lifting mechanism is ready greased and appears robust. A small spanner is included to tighten the leg fixings The adjustment mechanism works well and when extended upwards the bench still feels very stable and secure with no wobbles or creaks. The service from Thomann was excellent and the bench was delivered to the UK in only a few days with full tracking. Highly recommended.
