Thomann Universal Mic Case

The exterior of the case is very well made and sturdy. However the internal section dividers are flimsy and the sections are too big to hold mics safely in transit and too small to take the mic with its protective pouch. Overall the exterior of the case is very good but the interior sections leave a lot to be desired. Could be made better by a redesign of the interior sections.

The cover is too soft.

I bought this to house a wireless system which the case had fallen apart its perfect and protects my stuff from damage it also looks very cool too

Used for transporting a Shure wireless mic set and spare wires among other things. Combined with foam inlays this makes a good and safe transportation case for several small items.

Use this for storing a number of microphones. Comes with a foam insert that I actually removed and replaced with my own, as it didn't fit the varied mics I have. I knew this when I bought it. Very happy with the case, it safely stores my 3xTBone75, Audix D6, 2xSM58's, Behringer C-2 Stereoset, and various mic clips I need

I bought this as a hard case for my Microbrute. If you cut the foam to remove 4 of the vertical spacers for the mics, making sure to leave a little bit to stop the Microbrute from moving around, it takes the synth perfectly, leaving space to the right hand side for the power supply and cables. If Thomann modified the foam slightly they could sell this as a micro brute case. Its perfect.

All in all it is a great case. I have been using it for a year now and it has proven to be lightweight and sturdy. All in all I would recommend it for anyone who uses it often to travel around. Also a great touch is the padded handle. The only con I can come up with are the locks, since they are plastic, but they have not yet failed on me.

With a sturdy outer shell to protect your microphones in transit it's a great cheap alternative to an expensive flight case. The inner foam section provides sections for 5 microphones plus some accessories. Obviously since it's not a custom case the microphones don't fit snugly into nice pre-cut shapes but it will do the job of protecting the microphones so long as you don't sling it around like some airport baggage handler.

A great case for my use. It's not exactly built for heavy-duty applications, but I use it to store receivers for simultaneous interpretation.

Pros: Nice sturdy case, Nice locks, Nice price

Cons: The foam inside is a little... well.. soft and floppy... could be stiffer...
