Thomastik PI21 Peter Infeld A Viola 4/4

This «La/A» is high quality, with a round, full and powerful sound on the right viola. My instrument, a 16" (≈40.6 cm) modern German Strad model with dark-yet-powerful sound, did not love the Peter Infeld «La/A», but it sounds much better on a friends smaller Tertis model viola. The string may also be used as a round and full sounding steel «La/A» for violin, as Thomastik recommend. The price is slightly high for a wound steel string, but the Larsen is guilty of this also.
