Thon Computer Keyboard Drawer 2U

I should start by saying that I'm using this product for something it might not be fully intended for. I'm using it as a guitar pedal drawer in a home studio rack setup. There are a few things to be aware of;

First of all, the bottom plate of the drawer is somewhat raised from the bottom of the 2U slot. So the effective available height inside the drawer could be slightly better. Not all pedals will fit inside.

Secondly (and this could easily be relevant when using it as a keyboard drawer) the cable holes in the back of the drawer and the back plate of the frame is constructed in such a way that the cable very easily gets "caught" between them, when trying to push the drawer all the way in. I can never close the drawer all the way, unless I crawl behind the rack and adjust the way the cables run. I don't see why there needs to be a back plate on the frame at all!

It's sturdy (and heavy) though. Build quality seems top notch.
