If you were looking at brushes you need to get Vic Firth. This is the best quality that you are going to find, no questions asked whatsoever. I decided to go with this PLASTIC version not the metal ones as I didn't want scratch the skin on my Snare Drum. Regardless it's an excellent product and it's worth every penny!
I love these brushes. They are very comfortable to play with and they produce a nice clean sound on the drums, even though they're much lighter that conventional metal wire brushes. They only retract when you want them to (and you can't say the same about all retractable brushes) and they feel very well balanced in your hands. I would recommend them.
Yet another great product from Vic-Firth.Great sound on the kit and cymbals. Not as delicate sounding as wire brushes, better for playing as opposed to sweeping.
Cool product.
The brushes are of very good quality and are retractable. the shaft is slightly thick and takes a while to get used to however they have great projection. The plastic wires are great for beginners as they are not easily bent.
These brushes sound great on the kit, but after a couple of set of harder jazz playing, the bristles do start to snap off one by one from the base, which make more come out quicker. These should only really be kept for quieter styles.
