Woodify Ring for Flute Cherry

I was a bit sceptical when I purchased this, but it turns out it does really do what it says. I have a thin wall flute and I have a strong breath. I used to play on heavy wall flutes and had no issues. As I wasn't aware of the difference between these two flute body types, I purchased the flute and it cannot take in all the air I have in order to produce the nice tone. The cherry wood ring did make some noticeable difference. The hights are less shallow and I can project more air into the instrument. Also transition between octaves is smoother.
Be aware that you will need to adjust the place where you blow to get different octaves.
Overall, highly recommend if you cannot upgrade your instrument but need something better. It cannot help you if you have a technical problem preventing you from playing well.
