I found the Zappatini strap easily the best I've tried. Can now practise standing up for the first time since suffering back pain some months ago. I found it was necessary to put an extra knot in the bit of rope that comes out of the adjuster when using a balance hanger.

A great way to hold the bassoon. I find it allows me more freedom of movement and less weight on back and neck.
