A great and trashy all round hihat
I love this hihat. The size (15 inch) and the rawness gives it a somewhat complicated sound spectrum. Hihat lifts just sounds great. Maybe it is due to my hihat stand configuration, but I can't get it to sound pingy. It always comes with some trashyness when hit. For some reason I think this trashyness works great in any kind of music - from math rock to jazz. Accented notes have a different sound than tap strokes. This gives them quite a lot of impact when playing patterns where you alternate - for example 8/8 with accent on every other note.
I have had this hat for 2 year, I think. And I still find new interesting ways to hit it or groove with it.

Tungt mørk hihat
Dejlig mørk og grim hihat. Finish er upoleret og råt. Lyden er tør og kontant med masser crispy lyd i hihat løft.
Ja, og selvfølgelig skal det være en 15" !
