Different from the RM1 version, brighter tone, easier in the higher register. Does an excellent job standing out when needed and blends nice when required.
Like all Alliance mouthpieces, you have to be quite experienced to use them to full capacity, but when you are, it's a pleasure to play.
It's a good choice for solo cornets or repiano cornet, maybe less suited for 2nd and 3rd cornets, who need deeper cups for darker, lower notes.
It's an ideal compromis for players who want a typical cornet sound, with a high grade of flexibility.
Great product!
