I own an Artonus Elipe violin case, so when I was looking for a professional quality case for my 5 string violin (built on 14" viola body) I wanted something similar. I looked at slightly cheaper cases by other makers but decided that a bit more on the Artonus case, a company I respect, was the way forward. The case is light, good quality and easy to use. I've had to pad it a bit for the instrument to fit snugly, but I knew that the case was designed to accommodate larger instruments than mine so I had expected that. It also fits my 16" viola comfortably as well, with space to spare as expected from it's stated dimensions. Delivery was as promised - I recently had a delivery that went missing, definitely not Thomann's fault, but I was pleased with how Thomann dealt with it on that occasion.
To sum up: a quality case at a good price with good service.
Pros: quality, lightness, space for accessories, stand out appearance, good protection for the instrument.
Cons: I wish it had the same bow holders as the Elipe - I have been spoilt by them and prefer them to the traditional spinner type here.
