- Electric viola with vibrating body and complete feedback resistance
- Made by master luthier Bodo Vosshenrich in the south of France
- Top, back and sides are cold-pressed from ingeniously perforated, high-quality sheet aluminium
- The Electrola has a soundpost, a bass bar and a light and relatively elastic bridge
- Assembly of wood and aluminium parts with high-tech epoxy glue
- Scale and body length correspond to the acoustic viola, the weight is approx. 15 % higher than on the acoustic viola
- Ebony fingerboard
- Ebony pegs
- Fine tuning tailpiece
- Sound pickup via 3 strategically placed PDVF foil pickups
- 6.3 mm mono jack socket as output
- The Electrola is based on an acoustic viola with a body length of 40.5 cm, the scale and outer dimensions are the same, but the vibrating part of the body is shorter.
- Due to larger vibrating surfaces and a corresponding arching design, it has a real viola timbre.
